Heroine Sketchesby ~Desgan

Manga & Anime / Traditional Media / Drawings

These are some (very quick) sketches that I'm going to try and make a proper series of. They're all heroines from various novels.
Left to right:
Anne Shirley, from Anne of Green Gables (LM Montgomery, 1908).
Alice, from the Alice books (Lewis Carroll, 1865, 1871).
Lyra Silvertongue, from His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman, 1995)
Roberta, from The Railway Children (E Nesbit, 1905)
Harriet M Welsh, from Harriet the Spy (Louise Fitzhugh, 1964).

A few things didn't turn out the way they were supposed to. For instance, Lyra isn't Supposed to look like she's going to kill someone, and Bobbie isn't Supposed to look like Nurse Ratched. >__> And Harriet is NOT supposed to look like my brother.

I'm also thinking of doing a series of Heroes, but I'm having trouble finding enough Interesting ones. D: So far I've got Bilbo Baggins, Harry Potter, Peter Pan and Dustfinger.
